VISION

“If you want to shine like a sun, first burn like a sun”- A. P. J. Abdul Kalam

The vision of our college is a statement that we aspire to become or achieve in the future. It is a forward-looking statement that outlines the institution's goals, values, and aspirations.

Domkal Girls’ College is located in the interior and one of the most backward areas of West Bengal, where the opportunity of pursuing higher education is limited and nearly impossible for the women. Women of this area are immensely deprived of health, educational, and other opportunities. Considering these limitations, our institution has settled a clear and compelling vision statement that can inspire and guide every stakeholder of our institution in working towards a common goal. It can also help to attract students, faculty, and staff who share the institution's values and aspirations.

This Institution aspires:

  1. To become the best institution recognized for academic excellence, innovation, and societal impact.
  2. To empower students to become lifelong learners, creative problem-solvers, and responsible global citizens.
  3. To foster a culture of innovation, entrepreneurship, and creativity, preparing students for successful careers and leadership roles.
  4. To provide inclusive, high-quality education that prepares students for an ever-changing world.
  5. To be a leading institution in education, driving advancements and innovations that benefit society.
  6. To cultivate a community of scholars, researchers, and learners who address pressing global challenges.
  7. To provide a transformative educational experience that prepares students for personal and professional growth.
  8. To be a beacon of excellence in education, attracting top talent and fostering collaborations that drive positive change.
  9. To develop responsible, ethical, and compassionate leaders who make a positive impact in their communities.
  10. To advance knowledge, understanding, and innovation, driving progress and improvement in society.
  11. To ensure fair and equitable distribution of opportunities for all women in the surrounding areas and make it more accessible.
  12. To ensure a democratic, secular, cultural, and intellectual environment for education.
